My Favorite Google Chrome Extensions for Productivity

Are you always looking for ways to save time and streamline your workflow?

Ola! Michelle here. Over the years, there are a few Google Chrome Extension tools that I use nearly every day. I’ve listed them below for you to check out. I’m a big believer in productivity - not for the sake of just getting more work done though. I think the bigger picture is that we don’t spend more time on any particular task than it deserves. So whether that’s finding the perfect emoji or capturing the perfect screenshot, there’s probably a tool that’ll save you time and energy so that you can focus on playing in your zone of genius.

Joypixels

I can’t remember what I used to do to copy and paste emojis, but I remember it used to be tedious and a waste of time. Now with Joypixels, sprinkling in emojis to my emails, sales pages, courses, and blog posts is a whole lot easier.

Awesome Screenshot

This is another tool I use every day. I am constantly taking screenshots of my different courses, planners, websites, etc. in order to incorporate them into even more designs and mock ups. Awesome Screenshot makes it easy for me to take high quality, full page screen shots. Before, when I would take screenshots in the traditional way, I wasn’t able to capture as much of the height of the page as I needed to in one shot.

Snap Color Picker

This tool has saved me so much time whenever I’ve needed to quickly know the exact HEX code of a particular color. I do a lot of graphic design work and being able to match colors quickly has been essential for my workflow.

Honey

Honey is a coupon-finder application that has literally saved me at least $1000 at this point. You can use it when you’re in the process of buying a product. It’ll search the web for you for any applicable coupons.

It typically works mostly for online stores that sell things like personal care products or clothing, but it has also worked for me when paying for business software such as Vimeo or Squarespace. Sometimes the coupons I would get would be worth up to $80+ in savings!

It also gives me points on my purchases that I’m able to convert into cash on PayPal.

Toby

Toby is the solution for the reality that we are always falling into the trap of having way too many tabs open on our computers. Not to mention the ever-growing number of bookmarked websites.

Toby streamlines your workflow by letting you group your go-to websites under different categories on ONE page that opens up whenever you open your browser.
